Who We Are
The Reverse Mortgage Counseling Association (RMCA) is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the U.S. Housing and Department of Urban Development (HUD) approved nonprofit housing counseling agencies, that are recognized as exempt from taxation under section 501 (C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, in the delivery of reverse mortgage counseling services to seniors. Our principle goal is to support educational initiatives and to provide resources to improve the quality, operational efficiency, consistency, and sustainability of reverse mortgage
RMCA is the largest reverse mortgage counseling association in the country. Its members agencies combined have over 230 member counseling locations that employ over 300 reverse mortgage counselors across the country. RMCA members have helped over 50,000 seniors within the last year with reverse mortgage counseling and continue to counsel over 4,000 seniors each month.
