The RMCA Locator System is assisting lenders in the Reverse Mortgage Industry (RMCA is Free to Lenders)

The RMCA Annual Conference will be held at the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans on November 2nd, the day before NRMLA's Annual Meeting and Expo from November 3rd through the 5th. The RMCA conference will feature valuable information about the counseling side of the reverse mortgage industry. Come a day early, be a part of it. • RMCA is the voice for reverse mortgage counseling agencies, seniors, and lenders engaged in the reverse mortgage business to HUD, regulators, and the media. RMCA fulfills several roles, which include educating consumers about the opportunity to utilize reverse mortgages, training lender to be sensitive to the needs of Seniors, developing best practices, and enforcing a Code of Conduct to ensure that counseling agencies participating in the program treat Seniors respectfully.

• Our business model to fund the association is based simply upon lenders using our free HUD compliant list of reverse mortgage counseling agencies produced by our zip code locator software. We are also in the process of developing new software on our site that will be complete for the implementation of the new HUD reverse mortgage counseling protocol sete for release this summer.

• The RMCA HUD Compliant Lender List shows the geographic closest physical locations where reverse mortgage counseling can be obtained based on the Senior's zip code location. This is achieved by our locator software and best of all the service is free to lenders. This list is validated daily against the HUD HECM Roster.

• Seniors can directly access counselors by calling unique toll free number that is associated with each of the five listed counseling agencies and the four national intermediaries that appears on the RMCA HUD compliant lender list. Many RMCA members offer reverse mortgage counseling for free or for a reduced price.

• The HUD HECM roster is scrapped daily which ensures accuracy and will be validated by a daily report and is always available to our members.

• The RMCA Lender List business rules demonstrate compliance with HECM Mortgagee Letter 2009-10- Clarification of HECM Counseling Issues.

• RMCA's extensive network of HUD certified counseling agencies provides lenders with over 230 locations available nationwide to populate the list and find the Best nearest HUD approved counselor at any given time.
• Many RMCA member agencies offer reverse mortgage counseling for free or for a reduced price.
